                    The two green stains inside behind the wreath area would suggest a metal wreath had been on the hat some time and was replaced by a bevo wreath who knows when.

                        The exterior is very hairy, even if in the right areas (piping and bottom edge) it presents a certain consumption. The frontal badges are crudely sewn, but with a little imagination, this could also be acceptable, because we have seen even roughest seams. On the two sides it seems to me to see the signs of the two buttons but it is not easy to say. The interior, in my opinion, is a real problem: the sweatband was sewed up with very long points, which also involves the authenticity of the peak, and the lining with the caramelized sweatshield was approximately sewn also. In my humble opinion, not an original product but a put-together visor from different components.

                          It looks like a good cap to me. The wreath may be a replacement, but I like the attachment of the eagle from these pics. It looks like at one time it had chincords - not uncommon.
