    Hi guys, I am posting three caps in separate threads for your opinions please.

    First up a Generals crusher cap.

    Not in the best of condition. A lot of mothing.

                I have serious concerns about this cap. Look at the piping joints at the back for one. There are very good replicas of these around and imo this is one of them. J

                    Lots of red flags here I'm afraid, piping joint, plain card pasteboard, trimmed sweatband, dubious stitching etc etc

                      Hallo Allan

                      In my opinion, a real Kralka lining + a poor body eaten by moths, sacrificed on the altar of profit, through the addition of golden piping and silver badges, both crudely stitched as well as the sweatband. Probably this alleged general was not defeated by General Winter outside Moscow but more simply by General Clotheater ...

                          Gold piping irregularly and too soft sewn in the cap .

                            Also wear/threadbare around the wreath of the eagle in the low spots...not what I would expect to see.
