The sidecap is original without doubts, but its insignias are probably reapplied.
The print of the removed soutache is clearly visible too.

Take a close look where the soutache was. Original cap, insignia is re-applied. Grommets are good.

I took photos under natural light and higher resolution. The upper line looks being sewn by machine I think. Is there any chance for eagle to be applied in factory?

I can't find thread sewn through liner. (Only I can see thread for top line)

IMO insignias are original sewn. For early caps are typical hand sewn cockade and eagle has machine sewn top and rest hand senw. What is wrong?
