Thanks, Owen. I have lusted for a wartime splinter camo cap and thought this one looked better than others I have seen. Unfortunately, this one is not available to me.
Originals are truly hard to find and my search continues.

I have seen a picture somewhere of volkssturm wearing what look like factory produced splinter pattern caps, not saying this is one of those examples but they must be out there.
