Luft Officers Visor, Period?

A friend sold me this as a repro and im sure its a 1950's period cap, great shape, nice material but a black sweat band, ive seen WW2 period visors here on WAF so let me know your thoughts please

Just to mention the green visor has the scored marks to the underneath.

Your friend is correct--it is a fake.

Does ANYONE have a PICTURE of the Luftwaffe Style Officers Visor the Berlin Bereitschaft Polezei wore in the 50s early 60s ?? They look a lot like these IF MEMORY SERVES..Billbert

Berlin Polizei caps are with wool cap band , not LW style band !

Here is a Berlin police cap.
The ribbing of the band is wider than LW.
Also, they commonly have a KM-style visor.

Interesting as i've never seen a Berlin PO cap with ribbed mohair and KM type visor ?
The last one i've seen was also with a Heer type visor and a wool band ?
Dark blue piping and it was very close in quality to WW2 caps ...
