    Imperial German Admaral Hat ??

    Not sure if this is German or Austrian/Hungarian. When I took the hook that holds the button on I saw bright gold. Is this an Admaral's hat?

                        From my very limited knowkedge of Austrian Empire militaria, I don’t think a Navy headgear but probably a Stulphut for some K.u.K. Army official, made by the notorious Hof Uniformierungs Anstalt of Wilhelm Beck & Söhne, Wien, VIII, Langegasse 1:

                            K.u.K. = Kaiserlich und Königlich = Imperial and Royal.

                            This term was introduced when the Emperor of Austria took the crown of the Kingdom of Hungary on August 15, 1867 following the compromise of merging the two danubian kingdoms only in his personal union.
