    My first Kriegsmarine Overseas Cap

I am very excited about this one. I bought it from the vet's daughter. It originally came with a nice set of "railroad tracks" (Captain's bars) mounted, but I took them off.

The hat is near mint, minus one small moth nip and some of the thread splitting in the back middle. I took a lint roller to her, and she cleaned up nicely!

I love bringing things out of the woodwork!

I would pin it back on the cap
Give a man an opinion and you feed him for a day,
teach a man to use the "search" function on the WAF and you feed him for a lifetime.

I thought about it, but kept the bars with it detached.

Nice cap! Curious what the ribbon bar loop looking things under the eagle are? Anyone?

In my personal opinion, just a creative way by the soldier to keep the front from bowing out.
