Polish "Hero Collection" Fakes on Ebay

I get tired of being asked about the originality of these crap fakes, and I get even more tired of seeing them being sold as originals on Ebay (and sometimes going for big money).

These were not even sold as fakes originally, but as reproductions, which scammers have been artificially aging and selling as the real deal.

Many of them have the "Carl Derwig" fake sweatdiamond, but they are now removing the tell-tale logo.

Standard political Hero Collection fake--just went for EUR 206.00
    Approximately US $228.05:

On sidenote, they're still being made, so they're not some older fakes that've been sitting in warehouses- they're currently made repros, and sold as such. These are the caps 9and uniforms made by the company as well) that have been used on nearly all holylwood films involving Germans- Inglourious basterds, Valkyrie, Unsere Mutter Unsere Vater, and even seen in Fury and Monuments men to some extent.

Are they cheaper than a Janke and that's why they're now seen in such quantities on eBay?

The "original" Jankes are somewhat collectible in their own right now as they used a lot of original old-stock materials and were exceptionally well-made. These Hero Collection caps are half a step above the Chinese and Paki crap that is all over eBay.

                          Hero Collection

The owner is a perfect gentleman. His line of work is movie set productions in large order quantities only. Workmanship is exceptional. I can personally say he would never stoop to the level of some dealers as he is morally speaking from another cast all together...

(I still have the SS cap you gave me and no I did not wear it on the tramway...Best regards)

As mentioned; Hero Collection is making those caps ( and uniforms ) for movies and TV usage, not to fool anyone.
Another thing is the way the fakers used them. So I think you title of this thread should be a bit other ( for example ; how fakers thread/use Hero Collection movie properties ) as someone can understand that Hero Collection is making fakes to fool colectors ( which is not true ).
