Bergmütze Insignias Opinions

My fellow collectors ,

I have this nice '42 dated Bergmütze made by Breiter in Munich.
May I ask for your opinions on the eagle and the edelweiss ?

While I also think that the eagle is OK I really have a hard
time with the Edelweiss.

I know that the WH model looks different and the one that is pinnend
on my cap looks like the Bundeswehr model.

But all the BW edelweisses I looked at had also these small holes to be sewn
on...
