I say 'welcome home" to very nice "been there" M43 cap in as found condition
Never cleaned, lack of repaires and unwanted additions! Cardboard inside the bill is very and very rigid, hand sewn trap is dented in the cloth and definitely is on its place since wartime. Absolutely untouched item!
It has a lot of character as well as some holes, IMO unquestionable caps are getting rarer even in such condition in recent years
