Is this a good late-war Peter Kupper as well? Why the color variation from the interior and sweatband?

Not so late.

It lacks the stirndruckfrei and I see quite clearly the lining's ribbing only on the left side while the right side is very messy.

All in all the outside is convincing (because the fabric is just right worn, while it is impossible to judge - at least for me - whether the badges are coeval to the visor) but not the inside.

As usual, it will be helpful if you show some detailed images of the lining with the raised sweatband; if there are extra holes in the capboard and behind the eagle; of the sb front perforations.
