        Hallo The Tiger

        Just my opinion of course.

The eagle, which seems foreign-made, is stitched rather starkly. The oak-leaves are convincing but the black color of the cockade looks like cotton-made and not of metallic yarn. Piping is unusual but, with all the variants we have seen, may be acceptable. The peak would seem to me as coming from a Luftwaffe visor (please, see the green interior and the brink strengthening). The anonymous sweatband and lining (with that single wet spot strangely localized and circumscribed) do not help the analysis, but the blue fabric strip is a bit abnormal. It would seem to me as a kind of an half-moon stirndruckfrei, but I do not see any trace of it, visible, as usual, on the attack of the peak to the body.

All things considered, therefore, a visor with many anomalies, which I'm almost certain to have already seen somewhere on WAF (at least as a general type) but I just can not remember when

        Best regards

Finally, an interesting thread of six years ago about dutch-made headgears during german occupation:

All okay and in my opinion original.
