    Army Mountain Troop Officer’s Visor

I'm thinking of buying this cap.

    Any comments would be appreciated.

I think it is a bit overpriced but that is just my opinion.

    Fair price?

Apart from the fact that every GJ visor, complete of all its attributes, deserves a careful consideration, I also think it is a bit overpriced.

        Hallo Wayne

I hope others will join the discussion. This visor is very attractive but there is something, which at the moment I'm not able to explain and maybe I'm wrong, that I think deserves to be deepened. On the other hand before you burn or give the green light to a visor without real and serious arguments, you have to think about it very carefully, awaiting any further judgment contributions.

Since it comes from a canadian collection, I think someone here on WAF must have already seen it, maybe even for himself.

I agree with Marcello; this cap is priced too high, and I personally would not pay more than $1,000 for it. Dealers seem to forgot it's not 2007 any longer!
As stated often lately, the market is down, save for the rare & exotic item, which this is not.
Keep an eye on the Estand.

Eagle a wreath too close and I don't like the sweat band IMO

I do not insist much on the front spacing because I have seen many GJ visors on which the lower edelweiss' petal exceeds the intermediate piping and creeps into the free space between the top of the two oak branches. Rather, your observation about the sweatband deserves much attention, partly because it involves directly the grey peak and the dumb lining. For that price, I think, instead of lingering with many "outdoor" photos, it would be useful to insert some shots with the raised sweatband, so we can see the seams & folds of the lining.

The pasteboard seems to be creased or broken due to poor storage most likely.
