If I see well it seem to have a second Button holes on the other strap

Just curious: is it true Bergmuetze despite lack of the leather sweatband?
It has 5 cm long bill with no stitching from below, no ear loops, double crown stitching, vent grommets, cardboard tape under the lining, frontal part of the cap is reinforced with the mesh

Guys, may I ask you when silk was introduced for the lining?

I would say it's of the later variety in the Bergmutze style..the blue button IMO to me also points it in the post 42ish era...the earlier ones often have a FULL sweatband and some have the HORN style button....CONGRATS on your acquisition !!
