LW Officer Side cap

    Got my 1st Officer Side Cap today So happy .

    I have em side cap as well.

    <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><ST1
    <ST1I'll </ST1let picks talk for them self!

    Eagle and cockade seam to be hand sown during war cos eagle and treads sow sight of ageing (brownish color). Cap is in mint condition. Not marked inside. Size is 56-57 I believe. Eagle in interesting is on brow background almost similar to brown camo color o Fj eagles. Peaty sure it original sown on because the tread it is sown with is white but aged to brownish color. And a cotton thread thicker and multi layered then today’s treads.

    Don’t have digital cam so picks are scans of it! My good bud Besian will post them for me!

            Quite sure it is! It's just bit different just wondered if there is a reason behind it or it just a custom one.

              Eagle is 100% authentic. Did this cap come from the US? It looks very familiar.

                For what I see the cap and eagle are fine..

                I'd like to see the inside of the cap though..

                Eagle seems to be one often worn on HBT caps ,but I can imagine this set up was done..

                  First time I have seen that style of eagle on a side cap. But, I sure do like it. Jos, what kind of HBT caps have you seen that eagle on?

                  The hand stitching does look alittle sloppy but is does appear to be era. Nice cap. Is it dated?

                  Here is that exact style of eagle.
