That's about the nicest Ortsgruppe cap I've ever seen....Bodes

Agree==no problems with that one, and it is in great condition. For some reason, the blue wool piping seems particularly attractive to insects, so it's often damaged.

Erich - I think you're right. My own Orts visor has some moth nibbles on the blue piping.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thank you to Adam and all of you for your
Learned opinions! I was simply stymied by the condition of this once I
got it in hand - as you can probably imagine.
Purchased from a fairly trusted source, but always good to get the wisdom. First
political visor for me, couldn't be happier with the it ( especially now).
Given the condition, despite being Orts, any opinions on say, by percentage, this cap
Might command above the average Orts in reasonable condition?

Also, I would like to find out the maker for it! What's my best resource to seek out
Makers from RZM tag ( Hersteller-158 in this case) ?

Any help here very much appreciated lads!

158 was the A2 concern of Chr. Schweitzer at Koblenz. The permit expired July 18, 1936, but was simultaneously newly granted to Fritz Schweizer, Koblenz the same day!
