Opinions on LW Generals Visor

I'm not sure it was replaced , it coulnd be a economical sweatbend.not all erel's have the classic stirn sweat.

Yes it's better a hand inspection or at least good pics under sveatband,and the grommet also.
Remember this is not a middle but a last war,in the poor sveatband there is not the blind stamping .I saw many erel's with vented coccade and no hole,the it's not mandatory the imprinting under the celluloide diamond ,some time you have to look at diamond with the traverse light ,the lining also seems to be erel.
I don't assume it's original but it have the chance it cold be.

Here we are in the minefield of late-war Erels’, another endless debate, and, what's more, an high-end visor for a LW General, of which we do not know the original owner .

Well, step by step:
From the outside everything seems fine to me, and it also seems to me to glimpse the metal core of the left loop.
Let's go inside:
The lining is good, no extra holes, and I see at least the ink stamp in combination with one green penciled size marking in roman numerals (in this case I think a size 56) . As a result the lining should be have also the quadrant points, but from the pictures I can not see them. However, these seem to me some favorable evidences.
The fact that the sweatband is not marked is not a definitive proof that it has been hung up, although in some points the length of the strands of wire is irregular. Here it would be very helpful to see some sharper and close-ups photos of the entire seam. However, this sweatband is not common even on late-war eReLs' and so it can be a test against.
All in all, I agree with Carlo. In my personal opinion, a credible visor, until proven otherwise.
