    Hello DAK headgear crew,

I'd like a review of this cap, please. Thanks for taking a look.

Yes Brian, I know the implications...a probable distant relative.

              regards, Robert

They probably went to different schools together.

Original eagle, Oh Oh there is that red bump cockade too

                  Pretty good attempt

Perhaps an early attempt before trying to perfect the Lubstein markings as this is exactly the same as a Lubstein marked fake that was sent to me a few years ago.

Correct Brian, it's a distant cousin, family have nothing to do with him as he went to jail for forgery

Which failed to teach him how to spell his surname correctly. The first obvious step in passing anything.

Is "Feldstein" even a German surname ?

                          Chris

p.s. the fact that they have used original zinc grommets crimped in the correct way is very dangerous to say the least.

Thanks for looking any commenting, folks. This cap looks like it was made from original early tropical material; it looks identical to the material in the first model tunic it's sitting on. I don't know where they got it but this is that heavier, stiff cotton.

Add an original eagle (easy to find), original soustache, and original grommets (harder to find) and you've got a decent cap that looks convincing. I'm sure down the line the last name will get "battle damaged" and unreadable - this cap is built to fool.

I just can't figure why they would take an exceptionally well known maker and come up with a fantasy family name...

                              regards, Robert
