hat is in excellent condition showing only light wear and staining, marked on interior

Tough call from the pics but I would say that I do not like it more that I like it.
Wool is lighter than for an NCO cap, eagle is good imo but the cockade is strange (extra blue flat edge ??), faint stamp but the whole lining shows no or slightly use. Moreover, I've never seen this model before (what means nothing but...). Just my HO of course.

color is deceiving

strange color is due to outdoor overcast lighting and flash washing out true color. The hat is standard LW blue gray, perfectly matches another m-43 I know is good in color. Will try to post more spot on color pics to depict true color in better lighting.
