I pray everyone to point out why they do not like this visor.

Indeed the outside is still very hairy (like the actresses of the 70's ) while in contrast the interior is very worn but, as I see it, even compelling.

I'm looking for a similar logo in my files but it is not an easy thing, even if it must be connected to the half-moon stirndruckfrei and to the upper piping larger than the other two pipings.

For Schlange: what are the reasons you believe that the insignias have been replaced?

      enorepap,

Thanks for your comment - interesting thoughts! Here is a picture of a poor, moth eaten relic I bought years ago to get the bird and wreath/cockade off it. You can see the top piping is significantly fatter. I've seen this on some other examples as well. The material on this hat is also rather hairy.

On the right is a photo of the "Extra" embossed on the sweatband of the officer visor in question. If it helps.

        Hallo rev

Is it the same cap? Started from $ 775 and ended at $ 650, it seems to me a little over-quoted, as quite usual in the table cloth headgear. Sorry everyone, but it's a matter that I kept on crop for quite a while and now I had to spit out. I do not remember it was discussed during the sale:

I will try to see if the EXTRA information that you have given me, may be helpful in establishing something ...

          enorepap,

Yes, that's the same hat that was recently on the e-stand, started at $775 sold at $650.

In my opinion, here there is some characteristic of a MARKE STANDARD, but I can not find a matching logo. Though disintegrated, it looks like a silver circle with a shield on the top.

From what I can tell that sounds about right.

I have seen this EXTRA embossed mark before on a few caps but by different makers.

Yes I agree and I think as the war progressed, cap makes sourced parts from who ever could supply them.

                        Hallo Ben

I thought initially the same thing (and in this case we'd end up in a minefield) but fortunately the logo imprint is different (in our case is a circular one, while in the case of the little hand with three fingers is almost a rectangle with rounded corners). I'm splitting my head but I can not remember one like that.
