To make a note on the hermann goering cap, the buttons are ww1. Not sure why but they can be easily replaced with period correct buttons. Just showing it in the condition I got it.

Not possible, Showed these to a number of collectors who said WW2. the hermann goering has pre ww2 buttons on it, m43 cap has ww2 patch on it, blue cap has missing eagle, outline can be seen when inspected up close.

The only one that had doubts was the 4th wool cap which might have nothing to do with military at all.

Just been told. All of these came out of a ww1 collection which had a minor sprinkling of ww2 in it. I guess Ill regard these as civil hats when it comes time to part with them.

            Thanks for the info!
