what is interesting is this overseas cap. It appears to be foreign made but this is the way it came back. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?

and then there's this cap that was not with this foot locker and came from somewhere else. I am not sure on this one but I took a gamble on it as well for the bevo insignia. Is this just a postwar Bundeswehr convert?

The metal case is for pilots/flight crew..
It was used for all kinds of calculations, measurements etc.
Seems rather complete, nice set.
