Luftwaffe Visor Cap - Ersatz?

I've this Luftwaffe Visor Cap, it's marked by Hammaburg. It is having a simulated leather sweatband and a carton visor. Is this an original late war Ersatz type visor cap?

Yes, I do believe you have a late war visor; I cannot/ won't comment on the chinstrap &/or its buttons, nor the interior, but the exterior and cardboard visor lend me to conclude that it is indeed a late war visor.

I've not seen the chinstrap attached like this before, but it looks period.
It came together with a 1944 Flight Blouse a few years back, this cap has been in a showcase in my office since and I forgot about it.
