I Like the cap also construction & grommets all early construction the only thing that stands out to me as slightly unusual is the soutache looks newly attached false to the rest of the cap, my first impression before reading any other posts.

Absolut the same opinion. Soutache is added later.
The condition of the soutache is way to new as the rest of the cap, and did not fits together.
However nice and original sidecap.

Is there any fading under it? It just seems like a well worn cap with a really unbeaten soutache which is odd. Matt
