Infantry Officer M38 Cap Opinions Please

A little help please.
I am thinking about picking up this cap on estand

Can I get some opinions please. Does the cap seem all original? not a soldiers upgrade? original applied insignia? I notice there is a little fraying on the soutache, is that a big problem. Is the price fair enough?

Cap is original with original applied badges from what i see .
OFF Tailor made cap not an upgrade .
Price is not cheap but ok .

Looks like an original unworn cap right from the Kleiderkasse. However, the stitching around the eagle and rather low position of the cockade suggest reapplied insignia to me. The insignia look like originals.

Possibly, but a nice looking original cap with original badges in 2016.
