    Berolina Infantry NCO Cap

    Hello,

I just picked this up from a local antique store, no eagle but it's Germany. The lady also has his engraved bayonet.

I am impressed by the quality of these caps. Anyway, posted for your review - it may be one of my new favorites!

    regards, Robert

Lovely example The 35th Infantry Regiment was originally part of the 25th Infantry Division formed in 1934-35 from the expansion of the Reichswehr era 13th Infantry Division, and initially included the 13th, 35th and the 119th Infantry Regiments. They were involved in the Polish and French campaigns in 1939 and 1940. It later became a Panzer-Grenadier Division (25th Panzer-Grenadier Division), and saw service in Russia.

Thanks for all the positive comments, fellows. I really like it, and the veteran was local and lived into the 1990's. I am going to visit the family and see if they may have a photo - he had a lot of wartime service.

                          s/f Robert
