Opinions on Forestry Officers Visor

Hi guys,

I am fairly new collecting and I wanted some opinions on this visor. This is the only visor with bullion I have. What bothers me is that the bullion is sown through on both pieces as well as having a relatively large cord. It does have the black bullion thread, not cotton. Thanks for looking at it!

Hi,
alloriginal forestry officers visor.
You will find different types of bullion embroidery and also different ways of fixing. "Sewn through" was a common way of fixing and was mainly done by the officer`s wifes themself. It saved some money - and the majority of foresters were not very wealthy men.
