Army Artillery Officers Overseas Cap for Review

    Hi Guys,
Would you mind taking a look at this one for me. I'm not all that good on headgear and this one looks brand new.
    Thanks,
    Nathan

    cap

Original insignia wasted on a VERY poorly constructed reproduction in my opinion.

The basic cap might be OK or ???

Mint condition showing no use ?

but that is one of the roughest application of insignia on an officer M38 cap that I have ever seen. Was it a drunk or naive machinist who sewed on the eagle and soutache ? One is left wondering what sort of self-respecting German officer would wear it like that ???

And is that glue I can see on the viewers right of the cockade ???

There are "doubts" for this one,

          Chris

I am with Pauke on this one, just look at the stitching lines all over the place.

The cap eagle is original but sewn later on at the very least, but the fact that its not sewn through the lining and the eagle is machine sewn.... yeah I would just avoid this cap. There are lots of these out there. Matt
