    Luftwaffe M43 Cap

    Hello,
Got this one a number of years ago and have never had it reviewed. I'm pretty sure it's good but never hurts to have those more knowledgeable than I take a look.
    Thank you,
    Dale

No comments, so I guess everything is ok with this cap?

some ppl dont like that lining on the sides, but i belivie this one to be original.

It might be slighly reworked, im not sure, but original nevertheless.

Thanks guys. It reportedly came directly from a vet, but I wasn't there so can't say for sure. I don't see any signs where the lining or anything else has been reworked as the same thread is used throughout its construction. I appreciate your opinions.

People that don't like this CAP because of the lining are very much mistaken...Billbert

I like the cap and the the way the lining is made of two different materials but a couple of features of the construction are unusual.

However, is the LW trap reapplied by hand or is it machined zig-zag ?

                        Chris,
The trap is machine sewn. It is zig-zagged so tightly and the thread is such a close match to the color of the wool that I had to look very closely with a loupe to see it, but it is definitely done by machine.
