    Paul Kaps Luftwaffe Officer's Crusher

This came to me by chance from a forum member in Germany - any time there is an opportunity to acquire a Kaps, I just can't pass it up. Skender & Hornig must have distributed a few of these, as all of the Kaps LW "crushers" I've seen were distributed by them. The cap is very light and capband flexible (buckram?).

The name "Holzhauser" is stamped in multiple locations throughout the interior of the cap. The previous owner, however, told me that the cap was acquired from the family of an officer named "R. Klingohr" who served with the aufklarung unit 1.(F)120 in Norway. In that scenario, I'd assume that the cap had more than one owner.

That really is a primo cap!

Paul Kaps made the most distinctive caps during the TR period IMO, bar none.

Real luftwaffe crusher that has not been crushed. The owner must have thought is was to pretty to crush or he was a newby. J
