SS Hat from a old Collection ?? Does this cap look 100% as I normally buy my hats with good background or vets background ..Try to be extra careful these days ,, When dealing with a old collection you just never know .. Collector wants to sell this one to me .. It looks like it had a piping removed from its edge and not carefully .. Help Please

No doubt about the badges, but the eagle is way off center and they don't appear to be "settled" at all. But usually the lining is the dead-giveaway with these caps, and I can't fault this one. So, I suspect maybe a restoration at worst.Comment
