Another example of the fact that $25 membership doesn't make someone a saint.

In all fairness, I'm compelled to state that I bought the "Alteste" Panzer Officer Visor AND the Panzer Officer M-38 O'Seas cap, which were sold to me as 'Repro' by ''Henley" (or whatever is his member name).

Accordingly, I don't think this member is out to defraud anyone per se; I DO believe he was 'bent over a barrel and shown the 50 states' at some point when he acquired some &/or all of his 'Panzer' items, as his luck thus far with said items he's offered for sale has been dreadful. And of course my opinion is simply based upon my dealing/ transactions with him; BUT, if he elects to sell his items elsewhere, a prudent action would be to have the items examined &/or posted for comments before doing so (merely due to his 'dreadful luck').

      My two cents...

        Ian,
I may not be a "saint" (no one on earth is), but when I find out an item of mine
is NOT authentic, I take immediate action by pulling it or selling it for what it is.
So, although not a saint, I am most certainly honest!

People here assume that the 'association membership' is some kind of guarantee .... What you posted for sale and the way you wanted to delete the thread proved otherwise.

          Ian.

After collecting for 30 years. One thing's for sure. You can't assume. I bought many items from, who I "assumed" was a reputable dealer, simply to find out, down the road, that many items were "not good". I post items in good faith, if it turns out that the authenticity is in question, I remove it from the e-stand immediately.

Perhaps you should verify the items are original before you put them on the e-stand.....
