    Heer Officers Side Cap opinion please

    Heer Officers Side Cap for opinion. To me the wool material looks somewhat fake, but I am not an expert on officer headgear. Thanks!

            With the exception of the DAK Panzer officers sidecap, most officers wore the sleek M38 style not the M34 with its teardrop crown profile. Odd cap to say the least, I'm not totally dissing it as the maker is legit and the piping specs look right.

                I agree the eagle does look fake, but had sewn on and you can see that there was at one time a soutache on the front. I do like the makers marking, but these can be faked. Hope to hear some more opinions, but I will most likely stay away from this one.
