Impossible to tell from these pics alone (you may want to show us the sb and pasteboard also). Definitely a lot of original parts there already and I'd say it is safe to say that the visor was definitely replaced on this one (not one you'd expect to see on a cap like this).

Stands a chance... And I ve seen more than 1 generals crusher through the years with a non standard visor at manufacture and period retaylored..JMHO

Not for me--piping is wavy, and the "wear" to the piping is not commensurate with the rest of the cap.

I am with Chris. I think it is a "aged" base up fake. You will struggle putting together a franky and achieve those liner pleats. J
