Search eBay.de; there is a German seller that offers these repros. Obviously, those 'in the know' "could entertain a doubt" (quote is a shout-out to B.N. SINGER).

However, in hand & upon examination, you can see that the hat's construction isn't correct, as the 'false flap' has a dramatic downward angle towards the rear of the hat, whereas originals have a subtle downward angle that is consistent with the top stitching around the crown of an original.

As a result, the stitch line on the 'false flap' remains within about 3/4 of an inch from the stitch line around the crown on originals. These eBay repros have an ever-widening gap between the stitching around the crown and such around the 'false flap'; even though said "gap" looks correct near the grommets, if you were to measure said "gap" at the repro's rear, it would be close to 1.5 inches.

(VERY difficult to explain without posting pics; perhaps I'll do so later when I have time: sorry!)
