Opinions on Heer OS Cap

All- would very much appreciate opinions on this overseas cap I've been offered. Part of a small group supposedly all brought back by one GI. The eagle looks ok to me, but the cockade is not like one I've seen before but it looks machine sewn. Apologies for the poor quality pics, they're all I have to work with. If it gets sufficient thumbs up I'll try to buy it and post better ones. Thanks for any help.
