IMO never so simple , and especially on pictures only !
Having something in the hands could change a lot of opinions , in both ways ...

Very puzzling for me as I still "learning" about caps....
There has been a lot of different opinions on the caps and there has been posted a good explanation from the member GAMS1 on these caps. Still waiting for the exlpanation from the people who don't belive these caps are good.

As you, I'm still learning about these caps.

      Best regards,
      André

Hello, not sure about the visor because the leather edge and the lacquered finish is not as I would like to see, but neither is as in the post-war caps, maybe a late war, or even an early post-war, production?, really don't know. The chinstrap is to thick IMO and that rounded buckle is very unusual.

Thank you for the reply and explanation Eduardo.

I know that it is unusual to see rounded buckles on KM/KA visors. I have not found any pics of a KA visor with a round buckle yet as I have just started looking for one, but Robert Gysae had a rounded buckle on his visor so they wore in use.
The chinstrap is 1.5 cm wide and 1.0 mm thick.

If you want to see any of the visors by hand, please let me know and I can send it/them to you.

          Best regards,
          André

You are right André, but those are typical NCO cap chinstraps, that could be with rounded or square buckles, but the KM chinstraps with buckle have this usually of square type, that is what I mean.
