This resembled a fat figure 8 when I got it, from being worn in a belt I suppose. Off the cap stand, it still goes back to 8 figure. Was really through the war, and worn.

Teaches me! The one thing I DID NOT do was to look under the sweatband, something I ALWAYS DO ~ until this time ... and it was in my face! This is a total redo, don't know when it it was, but the liner and sweatband were replaced, and the bill resewn.Comment

thought the insignia looked ok, body and cord too - but have to question when the cap was relined and are they really good repro sweatband and liner? They do look good, just not original to this cap. And no way this officer sent it back to EREL for a makeover, they didn't do that.Comment
