    Luftwaffe black piped (pioneer) visor

I have just bought this fantastic visor cap from Peter and Hans at http://www.military-antiques-stockholm.com/

    A rare LW visor.

A very nice pickup, but I did not see this cap on the website. Only three cloth headgear are listed, and it also seems that they have not had an update for sometime.
    Am I missing something here?

Doesn't black piping denote Admin branch?

Hi Bob, I can't speak for vonLind, but as he's a 'local' Swedish guy perhaps he got to this one before it got to the website!

Very attractive cap, perhaps as well as Pioneer could it also be Air Ministry as they also used black Waffenfarbe? Perhaps that was what Mike had in mind?

Interestingly, the Air Ministry building survived the war and I think is still in use today by the German government - possibly by the Finance Ministry?

vonLind - does it have any unit markings inside the sweatband out of interest?

          Best regards, Paul

            Hi,
Nice cap, would you be able to post some pics of the interior, just wondering it maker marked.
            Cheers
            Wayne

                RLM visor

PaulW is quite right, this is a black piped RLM visor!
                Some extra "inside" pics.

                    For the record

                    Hi,

For the record I did not "steal" the LWM black piped visor from a future web update by the dealer: http://www.military-antiques-stockholm.com
I do not have my hand in their cocky jar, so to speak!

                    kr,
                    vonLind

Peter got an update going off soon, those of us living close by have the opportunity (as his office is open everyday by appointment) to see the items before.

                        I guess this happened here.

Looks like there will be an update for the wrap-lovers...
