    Estate picker came through...

..with a nifty little lot today, which included, (among other things), two nice TR visors...one, I believe a Schutzpolizei and the other, a "Soldatenbund" visor...missing a small section of sweatband and a visor which was shored up w/ some clear glue...however, from my experience, NOT a commonly seen visor. The lot also consisted of a very nice, early PACK mfg'd NSKK, SMF 2nd Luft, "crank" catch DAF buckle, Youth and polizei cloth, etc...Not to mention a very decent 1917 LF&C trench knife c/w scabbard. A couple quick snaps below....

Great find. The fighting knife is very hard to find with a complete scabbard.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

True Bob, and it's in great shape to boot...still wish it were an LF&C '18 model instead though...! (regardless of the fact that they supposedly never made it overseas in the Great War...)
