    Erel Transport "alter Art" Crusher

Gentlemen - This is currently for sale on the e-stand. An interested member has asked for opinions. If you'd all be so kind....

I believe this is an earlier model - the lining is silk and the sweatband doesn't have the embossed Erel logo.

          Hello Gentlemen,
In my opinion, this is really a great example of an early officers field cap. I have a very similar example for infantry, and I agree that it is probably an early made cap. If I had plenty of money in my pockets, I would love to have such a nice example of a very rare field cap.
          Thank you,
          Curtiss

Looks like a great example to me, and, a scarce waffenfarbe as well.

Very fine crusher but-- transport or Sonderfuhrer?.....piping isn't very blue on my monitor, looks grey/blue. Just curious.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. You have caused me to reconsider my decision to part with this cap.

Interesting you mention the waffenfarbe. It has certainly faded some, but under the folds it looks light blue. I will add a photo later.
