Steiner, the hat is real, however, from these photos, it is hard to tell if it is the DJ shade of gray-green, or the Forst shade (which is darker green).

A lot of unscrupulous sellers have taken 1st model Forst visors and replaced the cockade with a DJ one, so you have to be careful.

Can you get pics in more natural light?
