I don't know much about caps to be honest but what a great cap !

I recognize that Hussar skull as one I sold on eBay to an 'Italian' buyer. Regardless, it looks nice on that crusher.

The cap has potential but it's difficult to be sure.

There's a curious line of stitching that has gone astray big time around the centre of the leather visor, not sure why that is or how it passed muster for a cap like this. You can also just about see the exposed holes in the second photo, between the cords and the lower frame of the cap. That's not usualy acceptable.

Which would have me wondering if this cap might possibly have been 'crafted' from a Leib Hussar pillbox cap.....?
