Sweatshield appears to be plastic, and the Erel label looks to be printed in only black & white, rather than color.
I agree, looks to to be a repro.

Nice screen door mesh on the vented cockade. I think somebody in California was selling these in military magazines back in the 1970's - Stonemint may know more about that.
