Hat itself is good. Looks like the Schwingen might have been re-sewn.

I am a believer that these hats were made. In any event, are there signs of a previous LW bullion eagle?

No trace of a bullion eagle but cloth behind insignia is a little hard.

The badge looks good for me but after seeing the back side i would be then
sure of it !
