Unknown overseas cap, pls help :)

Hi!

Im actually a bit nervous about posting this! I have had this overseas cap for almost 10 years and have treated this as my dearest collectors item. bought it online form germany, but i never managed to find out if this is original or not. if its original, i dont know the unit or rank either. would really like to hear what you have to say, and if you think this is original.

inside, interesting! it says size 57, but if you look close, there is an old marking saying size 60 as well as ''Berlin 1942''. very hard to get a good picture of it, sry about the quality..

if i knew how to post smaller pics i would! there was no option to make the pictures smaller as far as i could see..
