    Crusher Infantery

    Hi guys

I usually collect daggers, but I want a Infantery cap Buy for a display.
I found on a German website, these so called Knautschmütze.
But since I don't have much experience of caps I like to ask for your opinion.

    Many Thanks

There is nothing wrong with that cap, its a harder to find example with that type of material. I personally think its a bit on the high side price wise due to the damaged sweatband but its 100% good to go. You can't dictate how they come out of the woodwork, and its a pain in the arse sourcing stuff here (I have learned that and now understand). That all said the cap is without a doubt original and unmessed with, if you are looking for one it could easily be that one.

bill doesn't look to be leather...looks more like a summer weight visor then a true crusher? too much IMHO.

An intriguing cap. Not textbook, and not exactly like any Derwig I've seen either. I'd want a hands-on before I pulled the trigger. It could be humped up from parts IMO.

                        I add one more picture.
I hope that will shown that it is a crusher,

@ SgtB IMO it is no Frankenstein, all parts are matching condition!
If you are Traviling next week to ciney, i can bring that Crusher and you can tak it in hands, if you like
                        (or if sombody else like!)

The visor/bill does not match the rest of the visor , the liner is a dog's breakfast and the pleating non existant, add to that the condition of the sweatband and

the sweatband ensures that the visor is authentic, the band is pressed cardboard, produced typical German, this Knautschmuetze has no problem for me regards sergio
