Visor chin strap opinions

Hi,

First it think this is where this should be posted? This came with some german stuff. But the stuff was SS and this not. Is this german? Is it a political visor chin strap or army? Is there a difference?

I put it under a black light and doesn't glow! Is is original if it is german?
