    Ebay Luftwaffe M43 Cap

    Apologies for not knowing how to link the listing, but it's Ebay USA item # 131458186432.
    Looks bad to me, and is now over $ 300, with 17 bids.

    I agree, he also had another one, that was the same construction, eagle, lining, buttons etc which sold a few days ago, again for over $300

    The three Wehrmacht armbands that he has are also suspect.

    Of course it comes with the usual story "This comes from my late father's WW2 footlocker, which had been sealed for almost 70 years when I opened it in recent weeks. " yeah right.

      Yeah, the old " sealed footlocker" story. I paid $ 350 for a no questions, minty LW M43 last year.
      Again, it's the old adage, buy the item NOT the story.
