    Guys

    thanks to some of you here and a fair bit of luck here is my current HJ caps accumulation.

            Yes, the dark cap. It's actually a deep blue I think. Double button.

              Do you have more pictures of this cap ?

              I know they had double buttons in the war , buy most double button caps are post war caps with a diamond added.

                Oh yeah, I know these double button ones are usually civilian with an HJ diamond attached. This one came from a friend in Munich and cost me little but without an RZM tag I treat it as a doppelganger.

                When I get home tomorrow I'll try to get some good pics.

                          Great collection! What does an HJ side cap with yellow piping signify? I picked one up recently, but can find no info on it.

                            Is it the brown overseas cap with dark yellow piping? If so then likely it is Nahrichten-HJ (Signals).

                              It is indeed! The color is just a bit lighter than my Luft tropical sidecap, and the yellow is a darker shade. Lining is a grayish brown rayon type material. Thanks for the info, would you believe that a fairly thorough internet search failed to turn up a single example of one like this? Is this cap a harder to find variation? Cheers...Steve
